Bio:

Emma Ptak earned her Bachelors of Art + Design from NCSU’s College of Design in 2015. After a few years of real world living she decided to attend grad school to learn more in her area of passion: textile and fashion design.

Her work often turns inward to look at themes from loss, empathy, and growth to existential crisis. She focuses on including all ethnicities in styles and models.

Collection Description:

Have you ever had the nagging thought that maybe, just maybe, none of this is real? Dream State examines the philosophical idea of solipsism, the idea that only one’s mind is sure to exist.

The dreamy colors and textures are pulled straight from nature – shells found on an empty white beach one summer afternoon. You won’t be wearing this collection to the beach though; it’s a layered, textured streetwear collection made for any gender.
