Bio
I am a designer that got my start in designing and constructing clothes at NC State. My process uses my tailoring experience, the digital patternmaking tool CLO, and digital print design to create the garments for my collection. I want to design garments for those who feel out of place, or that want to stand out.
Collection Concept
Eudaimonia is a dancewear collection exploring the themes of queer identities, fluidity, and self-acceptance. The garment’s designs are inspired by the organic elements of fish and the motion of water. The pieces are made with pleated fabric, mesh, and stretch fabric. Each has fin accents that flow or stretch as the body moves.

Collection Title: Dandy
Bio
I am from a small city in eastern North Carolina called New Bern. I love hanging out with my little fluffy dog Raymond and of course anything crafty but mostly sewing. I’m not sure what waits for me after graduating in December but I’m excited to start this new period of life. My style classic, sleek, and fun. I would love to work with formal wear in the future. My inspiration comes from traditional menswear but transformed into beautiful gowns and dresses.
Collection Concept
The inspiration for this collection comes from traditional and vintage men’s dress wear that will be reworked into women’s event wear. Each look is modeled off a single article of men’s dress clothing from a reworked collared shirt to exaggerated suit jackets. The collections name comes from a word that was commonly used in the 1800s to describe a well dressed man who was devoted to style and their appearance. The collection has an understated neutral leaning color palette while adding amplified details. Although it is a women’s collection it can be worn by anyone who wants a feeling of understated elegance and drama while attending a lavish event. The collection is intended for the wearer to feel a heightened sense of self confidence while showing the freedom of expression. Ultimately the Dandy collection is to inspire a feeling of luxury.
