Daria is a senior in FTM, finishing her last semester at NC State. Daria found her way into fashion as a field that allows her to combine her passion for arts and sciences together. Daria is a designer interested in womenswear and genderless fashion; she loves to play with masculine and feminine silhouettes. Daria believes in fashion as the medium of self-expression and communication with the world. She always strives to create clothing that not only beautiful but practical and comfortable and can serve a person for years. In the future, she aspires to become a designer focusing on slow-fashion and hopes to help stirring fashion industry towards a more sustainable and circular future.

Collection Concept

Tethys is a womenswear Fall/Winter collection of elegant professional and evening wear; versatile, it can be dressed up or down to be worn to work or social gatherings. As an ocean it is calm and dignified, but also powerful and assertive. Tethys is a collection that embraces and plays with masculine and feminine energies and silhouettes and aims to find a dynamic balance between them. The collection strives to amplify the wearer’s unique power and help her feel and present her best, most confident self. It features high- quality soft fabrics that provide elevated look without compromising wearing comfort.
