Bio
Gwendolyn is a senior in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Product Development. She is from Asheboro, North Carolina, and grew up with three younger siblings. Fashion has always been something that she has been interested in since she was a young girl. Her mom taught her to sew at eight years old, which sparked her passion for fashion. She followed that passion throughout her youth. She loves that fashion allows you to express yourself and the creativity behind it. She enjoys spending her time sewing, hanging out with friends (and her cat), and reading. Wilson College of Textiles has given her so many opportunities to explore her passion for fashion and creativity.
Collection Concept
Clownin Around by Gwendolyn Rogers is a maximalist Fall/Winter 2026/27 senior collection that transforms circus-inspired theatricality into bold everyday wear. The collection embraces an individualistic mindset by pairing pierrot motifs, oversized silhouettes, and pattern clashes with textural contrasts. It uses a bright, forward color palette and key structural elements, including bold, baggy silhouettes. This collection is meant for people who like to step outside the box and express themselves through their clothes.
